Global and International Studies

SUNY Oswego's Global and International Studies program offers students an interdisciplinary and multicultural program of study that recognizes the importance of the global order. Its aim is to develop the knowledge and skills appropriate to a world of deepening interconnections and interdependence across political, social, religious, and ethnic borders.

A major or minor in global and international studies can help prepare students for a challenging career in:

  • government,
  • education,
  • international business,
  • international law,
  • or an international organization.

We offer the unique opportunity for a combined Bachelor of Arts/Master of International Affairs degree. Visit our Degree Programs for more information. We also host the Zeta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, the Honor Society for International Studies.
