Prior to joining SUNY Oswego, Laura worked in international humanitarian assistance, guiding strategic planning efforts in disaster-impacted countries in Africa and training staff in policies, procedures, and professional development initiatives. She understands the value of effective leadership to motivate and unite diverse teams – not only to ensure progress toward common goals, but also to create an environment of trust and collaboration.
