As a Program Manager for Youth Camps, I oversee planning and logistics for the Barbara Shineman Summer Scholars which include Exploring Nature at Rice Creek, STEAM Camp, and Sheldon Institute for Barbara Shineman Scholars providing six consecutive weeks of youth programming every summer. Our goal is to serve students of all ages, offering affordable and accessible programs that are meaningful, encourage creativity and exploration. Additionally, I oversee college aged student assistants hired to support the camps, as well as manage registration and scheduling to ensure our summer programs run smoothly.
I look forward to collaborating with our wonderful instructors, student assistants, community partners, faculty and staff to build a fun and engaging program this summer!
Prior to my position with the Division of Extended Learning, I served SUNY Oswego's Office of Business and Community Relations beginning in 2018, first as the Office Assistant 1, then as the Office Manager. I am excited for the opportunity and experiences this position will bring, and am happy to continue my career at SUNY Oswego.
