Bio
Wolford is a Clinical Psychologist teaching at SUNY Oswego from 1988 until August 2024. Before that, she was an Associate Psychologist at the Richard H. Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse. She earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Wolford specializes in teaching and research on PTSD. She was a Co-Principal Investigator, PI and Co-Director of a 10-year, NSF-funded Collaborative Research Experiences for Undergraduates site: Training Diverse Teams of Undergraduate Veterans and non-Veterans to Conduct Trauma Research with Veterans in the summers at Syracuse University, working with Dr. Brooks Gump of Syracuse University and more recently with Dr. Kevin Heffernan, now at Columbia University.
