English and Creative Writing

With a choice of in-depth study in literature, creative writing, and publishing, our students benefit from our faculty's pursuit of the ongoing transformations that are the new humanities.

The English and Creative Writing Department is a large and vibrant community, housing English, Creative Writing, College Writing, and contributing to numerous interdisciplinary partners. Our classes combine big ideas and ambitions with core skills employers are looking for: writing, critical thinking, and communicating. Diverse course offerings and small class sizes help you connect with others passionate about the same things you are. Students are guided by award-winning faculty working at the cutting edge of their fields.
