Driver and Traffic Safety 

This Microcredential consists of three required courses for New York State Certification. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive foundation in safety education, classroom methods, and in-car instructional practices. This microcredential equips educators with the specialized skills and state-recognized qualifications needed to teach driver education, while also expanding professional opportunities in schools and community programs.

Who is eligible?

All students who have earned at least a bachelor's degree and hold a valid secondary teacher certification.
