Kendra Cadogan joined SUNY Oswego in 2022 as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO). In this role Kendra serves on the President's Cabinet, guides the direction of DEI work for the campus and leads key efforts around compliance, prevention, and response. Kendra currently serves with leaders from across SUNY on the Black Leadership Institute (BLI) steering committee.
Kendra was an AASCU Emerging Leader in 2022 and, prior to coming to SUNY Oswego, she served as the Senior Associate for Program and Policy Evaluation at the State University of New York. In this System administration role, she provided leadership for system-wide scholarship and fellowship initiatives to help campuses recruit, retain, and graduate academically talented, underrepresented, minority students. Kendra is an alumna of the Daniel Acker Scholars Program at the University at Buffalo, where she received a Master of Education in Social Foundations of Education from the Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
