Cannabis Studies - Coming Soon

This program consisting of four courses is designed for individuals seeking a nuanced understanding of the cannabis industry; encompassing its history, cultivation, medicinal applications, legal frameworks, and emerging trends. Moreover, this program aims to benefit those who seek employment and hope to participate in the cannabis industry. The Cannabis Studies microcredential program will be delivered through a combination of lectures and practical workshops. Students can choose in-person, hybrid, synchronous online, asynchronous, and/or hyflex course modalities. Participants will receive a microcredential in Cannabis Studies from SUNY Oswego as well as have the opportunity to obtain their New York State cultivation, processor, or retail licenses if they so choose.
