The SUNY Oswego Sales Triathlon provides students with the opportunity to network with community business personnel and sharpen their skills through specific, timed activities.
Students will participate in a 12-minute role play with executives from sponsoring companies. They will be evaluated on their opening, gathering information, resolving concerns, and more. Company details and tasks will be provided.
15-minute professional interviews with executives will allow students to sell themselves, followed by feedback from the interviewer.
These sessions will be timed. Business executives will listen to sales students' two-minute "elevator pitch" to sell themselves, then have one minute to ask questions before the bell rings and the next student starts their pitch.
