Overview

The Leadership Development Academy is a non-credit, skill-based microcredential series designed to strengthen supervisory and leadership skills in the workplace.

Through interactive, in-person learning and applied practice, participants develop practical strategies that can be immediately implemented within their organizations. The academy supports the development of respectful, accountable and inclusive workplace cultures through three focused tracks:

  • Leadership Foundations
  • Communication for Leaders
  • Managing Performance & Accountability

Each track includes a full-day kickoff session, three half-day workshops and a full-day closing session.

Courses

Each track includes a full-day kickoff session, three half-day workshops and a full-day closing session, providing participants with a structured blend of learning, application and reflection throughout the program.

  • Track 1: Leadership Foundations

    Participants will build practical leadership skills that support effective supervision and contribute to a respectful, accountable and inclusive workplace.

  • Track 2: Communication for Leaders

    Participants will build core leadership foundations, including self-awareness, professionalism and supervisory mindset.

  • Track 3: Managing Performance & Accountability

    Participants will build skills to set clear expectations, address performance issues and foster accountability.
