Individualized Training Experiences

Health Promotion and Behavioral Wellness, MS

This program prepares students to become skilled professionals in health promotion and wellness, working in corporate, healthcare and community settings. With a focus on all dimensions of wellness and behavior change, students gain the expertise to support individuals and organizations in achieving optimal health. As companies prioritize comprehensive well-being, this program equips students to meet the growing demand for wellness professionals.

 

Mental Health Counseling, MS

This program prepares students to work with clients in a variety of settings, including mental health agencies, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and private practice. This program is accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs and prepares students for licensure as a mental health counselor in New York State.

 

School Counseling, MS/CAS

This program prepares students to be a school counselor. They will learn to develop and deliver effective programming that addresses issues of academic achievement, as well as personal, social, and career development. The program is accredited and leads to provisional certification as a school counselor in New York State, with the opportunity to complete coursework leading to professional certification.

 

School Psychology, MS/CAS

The program prepares graduates to work with children in schools to provide comprehensive behavioral and mental health services. Students work in the areas of assessment, intervention, and prevention with a special focus on the developmental processes of children and youth. The program is accredited and leads to provisional certification as a school psychologist in New York State.
