Assistant Vice President and Executive Director for Auxiliary Services

Stephen McAfee brings 17 years of higher education and auxiliary services experience to his position of Assistant Vice President and Executive Director for Auxiliary Services overseeing the not-for-profit affiliated corporation. In this role, McAfee assists in the development, implementation, and assessment of services that support student’s experience on campus. He led his team’s development of key initiatives including the creation of scholarships to support students staying on campus during breaks, learning opportunities for students to apply classroom learning through collaboration with the campus department including the student-run, student-led Rich ’n Pour Café, several projects with Operations Management faculty, the expansion of the campus Maple on Tap program, and construction of the permanent cross country course for Intercollegiate Athletics.
Before joining Oswego in 2009, McAfee was responsible for all retail and catering operations for SUNY Cortland Auxiliary Services Corporation. In addition, he possesses 14 years of experience in retail restaurants and contract feeding. He received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a proud Alumna of SUNY Oswego earning his MBA in 2016.
