In her capacity as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, Dr. Kristin Croyle provides leadership for 19 academic departments encompassing a diverse range of more than 50 degree and certificate programs. Her professional dedication centers on cultivating a learning and working atmosphere where SUNY Oswego students, faculty and staff are supported and challenged within a framework of inclusive excellence. She maintains a deep commitment to advancing high-impact educational practices, promoting interdisciplinary scholarship, experiential learning, and developing success initiatives for students from historically underrepresented backgrounds.

Dean Croyle, who holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, is a professor of psychology at SUNY Oswego. Her extensive administrative background includes tenure as the Vice President for Student Success at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she directed initiatives in academic achievement, student life, and educational outreach with a particular emphasis on undergraduate completion rates. Previously, she held the roles of Vice Provost and Dean at the University of Texas-Pan American. Beyond her institutional leadership, Dean Croyle is actively involved in the community, and serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
