Dr. Kristin Croyle serves as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, where she oversees 16 academic departments that offer over 50 degrees and certificates. Her daily focus is ensuring that SUNY Oswego students and faculty are supported and challenged in a learning and working environment that is focused on inclusive excellence. She has particular interests in high-impact educational experiences for all students, interdisciplinary approaches to scholarship and learning, integration of experiential learning into the curriculum, and student success programs to support students who are underrepresented in higher education.
Croyle has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is a professor of psychology at SUNY Oswego. Prior to serving at SUNY Oswego, she served as the Vice President for Student Success at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she oversaw student academic success, student life, and educational outreach initiatives, and had special responsibility for undergraduate student achievement and graduation. She previously served as Vice Provost and Dean at the University of Texas-Pan American.
