Professor Hong Wan joined the faculty at the School of Business at State University of New York at Oswego in the fall semester of 2008. He has taught Corporate Finance, Applied Finance Management, Multi-national Financial Management, and Managerial Finance (MBA level). Prior to his appointment at SUNY-Oswego, he taught Principles of Finance and International Finance at the University of South Florida. Professor Wan's research focuses on empirical corporate finance and corporate governance. His research has been published in the Review of Financial Studies, a top academic journal in finance discipline, and other academic journals, and presented at numerous university seminars and regional, national and international academic conferences such as Western Finance Association and Financial Management Association annual meetings. Professor Wan holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of South Florida and earned his M.B.A. from Virginia Tech. He is also a member of American Finance Association, and Financial Management Association.
