Bio

Leah Galka serves as the Project Manager for OBCR's Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) contracts projects. In her current role, she is primarily responsible for managing OTDA contracts and ensuring that the entire process — from RFQ to final invoice — runs as smoothly as possible.

Leah comes to the Office of Business and Community Relations with ten years of experience as an information professional in higher education. Before coming to OBCR, Leah had worked as a librarian in several institutions, including Cayuga Community College, SUNY Buffalo State, and SUNY Oswego. The skills she gained as a librarian — including customer service, information organization and retrieval, and project management — translate well to her current project manager role.

Education

Leah holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from SUNY Oswego.
