I have a deep-rooted appreciation for life-long learning and understand the value of offering flexible opportunities along the educational pathway. As Assistant Dean, my role is to foster relationships that support and expand extended learning programs at SUNY Oswego. I work closely with the Dean of Extended Learning and our special programs team to focus on creating responsive and sustainable learning opportunities.

As an alumna, I understand the importance of my role at Oswego because I know the struggles of pursuing an education as an adult. I completed my master's degree online, one course at a time, while I was working full-time and busy with two young boys. I hold a master's degree in Vocational Education and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego. Additionally, I have a certificate of advanced study in Academic Advising and Support from Syracuse University.

My professional career has given me a clear understanding of entrepreneurship, education, and hard work.  I successfully started and ran my own business, then transitioned to a project director for federally funded research, which led me to a leadership role in research development, additionally, I gained experience in nonprofit management and alumni and development. I have held several teaching positions at SUNY Oswego and Syracuse University and truly enjoy the educational experience as an instructor and student.

In my spare time, you will find me at the end of a leash volunteering for PAWS of CNY (Pet Assisted Wellness Services), a non-profit pet therapy organization. I have proudly been a part of this organization for over 18 years during which time I served on the board of directors and as President.
