Day 8: Interrupting and Addressing Microaggressions

Understanding and addressing microaggressions can be challenging because the realization that we hold biased world views can feel uncomfortable. 

Similar to implicit bias, responding to microaggressions requires awareness and education; it also requires listening, learning, and working to understand the experience of discrimination that others face.
