Marquél Jeffries (he/him/his) graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and mass communication. As a student, Marquél held leadership positions in the Black Student Union and the Student Association, where he discovered his passion for advocacy and helping those in his community. In spring 2020 Marquél was invited to join the then Office of Diversity and Inclusion to support work with student organizations and student programming such as the longstanding ALANA Conference. A musical artist at heart, Marquel brings his creative and positive spirit to all that he does.
