Pranay Chapagain is currently working as a Web Application Developer/Analyst in the Office of Communications and Marketing and also in the Office of Business and Community Relations at SUNY Oswego since January 2016. His primary role is to enhance the digital user experience in concert with the college's messaging priorities. He is also responsible for developing and maintaining the SUNY Oswego Request For Qualifications online application and bidding system for the Office of Business and Community Relations.

In this position, he has contributed to special web projects for the college such as the college's Events Calendar,  Strategic Plan website, Data Visualizations for Strategic Impact Indicators, Alumni Campaign website and the Oswego News and event website. He also assists the web development team in customizing, maintaining and supporting the overall college's web presence.

Previously he worked as a Student Assistant in the Office of Communications and Marketing, and as a Graduate Assistant in the department of computer science at SUNY Oswego.

Pranay has volunteered as an art helper in the Tinker-Lab during the 2016 Harborfest in the West Park, Oswego. He also volunteered for cleaning the shores of Lake Ontario in a Lake Clean Up program with Oswego Go Green Team in September 2014.
