As the Project Director, Erin brings her unique set of skills and human services background to the RSVP program. Erin grew up in Oswego and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Oswego in Public Justice. SUNY Oswego is where she followed her passion for human services and service provision. She knew at a young age that she wanted to establish a career in a field where she could help people.
Erin is passionate about working with families in need, believing that every individual can strive for greatness in their own unique way. Helping families as a Child Protective Caseworker allowed Erin to see the needs of the community firsthand. Working for Oswego County Opportunities’ Head Start program as the Family Community Engagement Manager furthered Erin’s passion of helping both families in the Head Start program and human services workers. This career opportunity also allowed Erin to collaborate with various community service providers to provide assistance in the community. With the help of her Family Services team, Erin was able to implement the Circle of Security-Parenting program for Oswego County Head Start to assist families in maintaining healthy and emotionally secure relationships.
In addition to her Bachelor’s Degree, Erin holds the Family Development Credential from the University of Connecticut, is a certified Circle of Security-Parenting Facilitator and a commissioned Notary Public in New York State. Erin hopes to increase her passion for helping her community by establishing community partnerships for RSVP and increasing collaborative efforts with community programs. Her wish is to assist in making our community an even better place to live and thrive.
