Bailey Teachman currently serves as Office Manager in the Office of Business and Community Relations at SUNY Oswego. She oversees the day-to-day office operations, including all financial reporting of the department. Bailey’s passion for academia led her to SUNY Oswego, where she hopes to help build campus and community relationships while growing her knowledge about issues that impact the area. While attending college Bailey worked as a Preschool Leader with ESL students at People in Action (PIA): at the Town of Dewitt Parks and Recreation. These diverse groups of children helped Bailey visualize her community from a new perspective; she was able to witness and addresses challenges faced by residents with limited resources. At PIA, Bailey discovered her interest in helping enrich the lives of the people around her. After graduation, Bailey worked as an Event Coordinator and Office Manager at a local winery where she gained experience in organizational planning, the execution of large-scale events, and financial reporting and analysis.
Bailey is a recent graduate of LeMoyne College, located in Syracuse, NY, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management and Leadership with a minor in Legal Studies. Bailey was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) and a trombonist in the Jazz Band Ensemble. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at LeMoyne College.
