Library skills are key to academic success! Penfield Library is pleased to announce a series of workshops for the Spring 2023 semester. Librarians are offering library / information literacy workshops to any and all students in person, online, and asynchronously. We'll be covering seven topics this spring:
- Intro to Library Research
- Different Types of Sources & When to Use Them
- Basic Searching: Topics & Keywords
- Researching Companies
- Art Research
- Citations
- Evaluating Sources
Workshops are posted to the campus events calendar, and you can view a complete schedule of library workshops on the Penfield Library website. Workshop recordings will be posted for asynchronous access as the semester progresses, so stay tuned!
Campus Single-Sign On authentication will be used for Zoom access for online workshops, which requires your SUNY Oswego email address and password to login. Proof of attendance will be provided. Workshops will be canceled if no attendees arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.
Please contact us if you have questions about the workshops or if you're looking for research help.
